Wellbeingr participated for the 2nd consecutive year, together with its dedicated team of volunteers, in the special open event “Growing Healthier Together”, organized by WHO Regional Office for Europe, which took place with great success at Alsos Kifisias on Saturday, 6 June 2026 (11:00–20:00).
The event created a vibrant space for connection, creativity and awareness-raising, highlighting the importance of prevention, support and access to mental health care for children and young people.
As part of the event’s stage programme, Glykeria Reppa, Lecturer in Educational Psychology, Neapolis University Pafos, Cyprus | Scientific Associate at Wellbeingr AMKE | Psychologist and Author, presented the experiential activity “The Lantern of Care”, a unique interactive experience for people of all age aiming to enhance mental wellbeing and self-regulation through play, music and movement.
Through the use of colourful symbols the audience actively participated, in a joyful and engaging way, a simple self-care pattern: to pause, observe what they are feeling, and choose an act of care and auto-regulation for themselves.
Throughout the day, the Wellbeingr booth was filled with smiles, creativity and meaningful moments of connection thanks to our visitors of all ages and, of course, with the valuable contribution of our amazing team of volunteers who, as always, supported our activities with enthusiasm and positive energy.
Through experiential activities such as the “Stress Thermometer”, the “Smile, Kindness & Love Exercise”, the creation of Anti-Stress Balls and the Mindfulness Corner with Maria Stella Hiladakis, Founder of Annassa Experience | Wellbeing Orchestrator, and Eirini Loisiou, Mindfulness & Body Intelligence Coach, participants had the opportunity to explore simple practices of self-care, mindfulness, emotional connection and stress management, small seeds of wellbeing that can flourish in everyday lives.
We feel deeply grateful to WHO Greece and its team for their trust and collaboration in such an important initiative, reminding us that health and wellbeing grow stronger when cultivated together. We warmly congratulate WHO Greece for its significant contribution and valuable work in Greece, especially around the important issues of mental health and wellbeing.
A heartfelt thank you to our volunteers, whose contribution helped spread the message of care, connection and mental wellbeing.
Wellbeingr’s participation in the event is part of its broader initiative to disseminate the European Commission’s Guidelines on Mental Health and Wellbeing in Schools, aiming to raise awareness and inform educators and policymakers.
