On Tuesday, February 18, 2025, Wellbeingr, together with the youth of The Loukoumi Foundation (Domenica S., Athina V., Vasiliki Z.) and Despina Kartson, founder of Philoxenia, visited the Social Grocery Store of the Reception & Solidarity Center of the Municipality of Athens (KYADA) and donated clothes, food, and other essential items to meet the specific needs of our vulnerable fellow citizens.

The staff of KYADA works tirelessly to collect and distribute food, clothing, and other necessities, while also providing care services, medical assistance, and psychosocial support to more than 26,000 residents of Athens. The organization plays a crucial role, acting as a bridge between those who wish to offer help and those who are in need.

We extend our warmest thanks and heartfelt congratulations to Mina Foutzoula, President of KYADA, Elli Nazlidou, and the entire staff of the Center, who welcomed us warmly and gave us a guided tour of the facilities.

Through their presentation, we had the opportunity to witness firsthand the meaningful and valuable work of KYADA, which serves as a cornerstone of social solidarity in our city.

For the people of Wellbeingr, the interaction with the staff of KYADA, the spirit of giving, and the collective effort strengthened our organization’s sense of purpose and solidarity.

This initiative once again highlighted the importance of social empathy and cooperation in building a society where care and support for one another are held as priorities.
