Wellbeingr organized an experiential Wellbeing Happening, on Sunday 13th November 2022 from 11:00 to 13:30 hours at Mount Parnitha in collaboration with George Sarros, Professor of Physical Education and Personal Trainer.
The participants had the opportunity to feel the physical and mental benefits arising from a group walk in the mountain landscape and nature, such as stress relief, energy spike, and mood improvement. In parallel, we enjoyed the majestic views throughout the selected route at the spruce-fir forest of Mt Parnitha, at Bafi, an hour away from Athens.
Following the walk, George led an energetic stretching session that helped relax our muscles while he also familiarized the participants with the theoretical approach of walking benefits in stress relief and how we can introduce walking efficiently and safely in our weekly routine, aiming to improve our physical and mental resilience while promoting our overall wellbeing. We closed the session with a group mindfulness practice guided by Isabelle Razis, co-founder of Wellbeingr.
Water, tea, and coffee were offered with a healthy snack.
