As part of its mission to promote mental health and wellbeing, on Monday 8th November 2021 at 18:00-21.00, Wellbeingr organized the inaugural multi-disciplinary Connect.Learn.Act. Event hosted by the Municipality of Filothei-Psichiko on the theme of “Mental Health and Wellbeing as a Source of Life in Modern Times”. The event took place in the amphitheater of the Filothei-Psichiko Lyceum and was translated into Greek sign language, with the program being printed in Braille alphabet for the visually impaired.
140 citizens of Filothei-Psichiko attended and had the chance to listen to and interact with top-level speakers on the importance of mental health in modern times.
Deputy Minister of Mental Health, Zoi Rapti headlined the event with her fascinating speech on the role of mental health in the creation of development strategies, with supporting lectures being given by Dr. Pavlos Sakkas, Emeritus Professor of Psychiatry, Medical School, National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, Dr. Vassilios Tselios Associate Professor of Regional Analysis and Policy at Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences and Konstantinos Charantiniotis, Well-being Coach & Mentor, Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultant, NLP Master Coach.
The evening closed with a networking reception at which the guests enjoyed healthgiving delicacies offered.
