Wellbeingr successfully organized, on November 2, 2023, in collaboration with the Greater Good Science Center, University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley), an interactive workshop in the beautiful premises of Athens Lawn Tennis Club entitled

THE SCIENCE OF HAPPINESS AT WORK :

Boost Commitment, Performance, Teamwork, and the Bottom Line

The workshop was conducted in English and was held for the first time in Greece. Attendees received a Certificate of Attendance provided by the Greater Good Science Center at the end of the workshop.

Emiliana R. Simon-Thomas, Ph.D., Science Director at the Greater Good Science Center, UC Berkeley, travelled to Athens exclusively for the workshop to share her expertise and long experience in the PERK method (Purpose, Engagement, Resilience, and Kindness) and all the elements contributing to happiness at work.

During her short stay in Athens, Emiliana R. Simon-Thomas had the chance to meet and share insights with the members of the Scientific Committee of Wellbeingr on promoting a new happiness mindset based on scientific data and measurements.

Prominent representatives and executives from Alpha Bank, Autohellas Hertz, Teim Bluegr, Coca-Cola Hellas, Coca-Cola HBC, Eurobank, EEY, Pfizer, Delta Foods, MSD, PwC, Softone Technologies, and more attended the seminar. Participants acquired practical and immediately applicable insights on fostering a positive work environment and had the chance to exchange their professional experiences during the luncheon, held in the beautiful garden of the Athens Lawn Tennis Club.
